Responsibilities: Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for complex systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency Implement Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and optimize them for real-time processing Develop high-speed designs to meet the demanding requirements of our products Integrate FPGA components with RF SOC designs for seamless functionality Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of FPGA solutions into the overall system Perform thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs to ensure reliability and functionality Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in FPGA technology, DSP, and High-Speed Designs Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members Required skills and experience: Must be eligible for an Enhanced Reliability clearance 3-5 years of experience in FPGA, Verilog or VHDL design Experience with simulation tools such as Model Sim and Quest Sim Solid understanding of analog and digital hardware design, high speed communication protocols, EMI, and Power distribution/delivery Experience in DSP and /or RF Design Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills Ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams, with excellent teamwork skills and minimum supervision Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Desired skills: Design experience using Xilinx products and tools (such as vivado) is preferred Prior experience with RFsoc devices Experience with ELINT/ESM, COMINT, Electronic Attack or Radar systems is a definite asset Note 1: You MUST be legally entitled to work in Canada (i. e. possess Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or Valid Work Permit).
