Overview The Research & Development Medium Voltage Controls Engineer works as part of a team designing, developing and testing concepts for new product introduction. R&D resources, including a fully functional lab, are utilized to research new technologies and develop new solutions for existing and emerging markets. Reporting to the R&D Manager, this position is responsible for performing engineering activities and leading product development projects in the design, development and validation of new industrial controls with a specific emphasis on Medium Voltage systems. This position requires infrequent travel to other company facilities or client sites (less than 5% travel). Primary Duties Engineering/Technical Responsibilities Designing MV protection and control systems for electric heating applications Transform conceptual ideas into prototypes.
