HR Administrator Care and Rehabilitation Services HMP Rye Hill, Rugby, CV23 8SZSalary GBP 23,643.65 per annum Permanent : Full Time (40 hoursper week) This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Administrator looking to start their career in Human Resources, in a truly generalist role Care and Rehabilitation Services (Ca RS) successfully manages 4 prisons, one secure training centre and a number of community contracts in England and Wales. The philosophy of our prisons is to rehabilitate offenders and equip them to re: integrate into mainstream society on release. We seek to normalise prison conditions as far as possible to reflect life in the outside community. Our aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe. We are looking for a dynamic individual, who can work using their own initiative or as part of a team, provide an effective and efficient administration service and be an integral part of the small onsite HR Team based at the prison. No previous experience in HR is required as full training will be given with the opportunity to develop and be supported through a relevant CIPD qualification. You will be fully supported to succeed in this role. Along with your current administration skills and your can: do attitude, you will work collaboratively and have excellent communication skills. The main key accountabilities for this role are: : Provide an administrative service to the management team and employees within the prison : Create and maintain electronic HR records for all employees : Assist in the coordination of Recruitment activities, including attendance at Recruitment Fairs : Act as the responsible Vetting Contact Point to ensure all employees have the correct levels of security clearance : Coordinate employee reward and recognition initiatives : Support with note taking at meetings : Support the HR Officer with the monthly Payroll, monitoring the payroll system and processes and answering queries to ensure accurate.
