Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide Position Summary The Communications and SCADA Technician is responsible to provide field support for test, repair, operation, and/or maintenance of communications and signaling equipment. This team will be responsible for the maintenance of passenger stations, the Maintenance and Storage Facility, and Traction Power substation buildings. This role must have the ability to embrace a dynamic working environment that promotes safety, service, quality, motivation and teamwork in a start-up environment. Roles and Responsibilities Repair, operation and maintenance of Communications and Signalling equipment; Provide technical expertise to subcontractors, project team members and less experienced personnel; Troubleshooting of equipment and operation of portable test equipment, testing devices and special tools towards execution of support activities; To undertake other duties related to the environment of the power assets or of Work as specified by the System Operations Manager in a safe manner; Ensure that the signaling system is properly maintained for maximum safe power availability uptime for revenue service, this includes all sub-systems and components including mechanical, electrical, safety interlocks and auxiliary equipment; Confirm operability of enclosure including seals, door mechanisms and locks; Operate equipment required for maintenance of the system.
