Must have Solidworks POSITION: Steel Detailer / Auto Cad Technician LOCATION: Dublin SALARY: Negotiable DOEAn Engineering company based Dublin, that provides a wide range of steelwork related services to a range of public and private sector clients, is seeking to recruit an experienced Detailer / Engineer. Must have Solidworks RESPONSIBILITies You will work within a collaborative team environment on a range of residential, commercial, industrial, data centres, leisure and retail projects The ideal candidate will have had hands-on, technical experience gleaned from a career in the engineering / construction sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, diligent, and ambitious Detailer / Engineer to join a growing company. Liaise with architects / engineers / main contractor. Provide 2D/3D CAD Drawings. Performing Design Reviews with client/design/production departments. Produce layout drawings to be issued for approval. Produce fabrication drawings. Prepare Material list for procurement. REQUIREMENTS Engineering degree, Management or equivalent technical qualification preferably Mechanical, Structural, Process / Manufacturing, Construction Management5 years relevant experience in the Engineering / Construction sector. Strong technical background Proficient with packages like, excel, word and Google Workspace. Auto CAD, Advanced Steel, FEA software etc. would be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, interacting with customers and colleagues at all levels. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
