We are seeking One (1) Baker to join our team at Baba Q's Smoke & Grill Restaurant Ltd. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders• Bake mixed doughs and batters• Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods• Ensure quality of products meets established standards• Inspect kitchen and food service areas• Prepare special orders• Operate machinery Terms of Employment: • Salary: $14.50 per hour• Permanent, Full Time / 35 to 40 Hours per week; Day, Evening, Weekend• Start date: immediately Skills requirements: • Language: English• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience• Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience Personal suitability: Dependability, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods Who can apply? • You are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada• You have a valid Canadian work permit• If you are not authorized to work in Canada, do not apply.
