Aligning efforts with organizational goals, you'll ensure optimal value, legal compliance, and operational excellence. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct an in-depth procurement department evaluation, designing an operating model with relevant KPIs and reporting tools. Demonstrate expertise in procurement practices, structures, roles, and responsibilities, ensuring a flexible, cost-effective procurement service. Develop an efficient, cohesive team, identifying opportunities for performance enhancements and collaborative improvements. Set the procurement function's strategic direction, considering immediate and long-term objectives. Raise awareness of procurement's role and objectives throughout the organization. Lead complex procurement activities, adhering to public sector procurement legislation. Embed customer needs understanding and effective communication within the procurement service model.
