Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended period. Prevent Losses and provide a safe environment for customers and employees. Prevent shoplifting, disruptive behavior, destruction of property. Always remain alert. Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor. Offering help to any customer who appears confused or in need of assistance. Guards should be constant patrol of the store making their presence known. Be on the lookout for instances of threatening, fraudulent or rude behavior by customers towards store employees. Qualifications to become an Retail Security Guard in Fort Mc Murray Alberta Security License Standard First aid Level ‘C’ BSO/CSTS/ OSSA/ CSO safety tickets Good Communication skills- both verbal and written D & A Testing / Standard basic panel 5 Gardaworld Orientation/ Site specific Orientation Ability to approach individuals when incidents occur The site requires a N95 fit test, which requires candidates to be clean shaven (no facial hair) Eligible to work in Canada.
