Skills/Qualifications: - Have 3+ years of Uniformed Security experience in a retail, hospital, College, hospitality or public building setting - Be able and willing to work at different stores in Downtown Core - Strong communication skills - written, verbal and listening - Valid Security Guard License - Demonstrated ability to prepare professional security reports with meticulous detail and grammar - Willingness to complete all required training modules that include Lawful Subject Restraint, Crisis Management - both of which require annual recertification - Knowledge of Canada Criminal Code and 494(c) - Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills - Ability/willingness to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations Attributes: - Must be reliable, available, of sound character and a team player - Customer Service culture - Stellar Attendance Record - Demonstrated conflict resolution skills - Support all Diversity/Inclusion initiatives of the customer and Securiguard - Calm demeanor in stressful situations - Able to stand/walk for long periods Progressions based on performance Starting Pay Rate: $20 per hour Progressions based on performance Join our amazing team.
