WAGE: $18.00 per hour (full-time position; 40 hours per week incl. weekends and evenings) JOB DESCRIPTION: • Prepare and cook batches of a wide variety of individual Indian sweets including Rasmalai, Ghulab Jaman, Barfee, Ladoo etc. • Develop and update existing recipes as per the requirements of the business. Should have a keen interest in innovation. • Collaborate with co-workers, helpers, and other chefs to complete sweet manufacturing process within the provided timelines, and as per demands of the business. • Train helper staff in preparation of the sweets. • Visually inspect and manually check individual batches to ensure quality standards of the sweets. • Keep track of the date of production of batches and ensure freshness of the sweets. • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness. • Maintain required inventory of sweets, and keep a record of prepared food, available raw materials, and equipment needs to fulfill orders.
