Key Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, adhering to The Captain's Boil's recipes and guidelines. • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize wastage and ensure ingredients are readily available. • Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to comply with health and safety regulations and uphold our commitment to cleanliness. • Participate in menu development, suggesting innovative ideas and improvements to enhance the dining experience. • Train new kitchen staff members and facilitate ongoing training to improve skills and performance. • Troubleshoot any kitchen-related issues and implement effective solutions. • Contribute to cost control efforts by minimizing food costs and optimizing kitchen processes. Requirements: • Completion of secondary school is required. • Minimum of 2 years minimum kitchen experience. • Food Safety Certificate• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. • Proficient in inventory management and controlling food costs. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and handle.
