Business Address: 8885, 134B Street, Surrey, BC, V3V 5T5 Position Description Position: Landscape Gardener Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time No of positions: 2Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley (BC). Salary and Benefits Salary: $28.00 per hour Overtime and Vacation Pay Stable & full-time employment Work-life balance through flexible and accommodating work environment Job Responsibilities: • Interact with clients and propose ideas or options for different types of landscaping• Plan and execute small scale landscaping operations by participating with labour in preparing and grading terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding and sodding lawns, and transplanting shrubs and plants• Maintain grounds and landscape of private residences and businesses. • Plant new and repair established lawns, using gardening implements, seed mixtures and fertilizers recommended for particular soil type and lawn location. • Locate and plant shrubs, trees, and flowers selected by property owner or those recommended for particular landscape effect. • Perform other landscape gardening duties as requested by management. Job Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping and/or gardening. • Education in related field would be an asset. • Excellent communication skills. • Maintain a positive attitude and excellent work ethic. • Ability to effectively motivate, encourage and lead a team to complete.
