Experienced Electricians and Supervisors Required in Plymouth Position: Full Time Location: Plymouth, Devon Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour negotiable depending on experience and grade Hours: 45 hour per week We are a successful and growing commercial and industrial electrical installation contractor based in Devon, operating throughout the UK on a wide variety of projects for many different clients. We are currently looking for experienced Electricians and Site Supervisors to join our teams working on long term projects in Plymouth. Candidates should be highly organised, efficient, calm under pressure and client-focussed, with excellent communication skills. About the Supervisor Roles: Supervise and mentor a team of electricians, mates and apprentices Ordering Materials Dealing with day-to-day site queries and meetings Evaluating, programming and managing workloads, and assigning labour to projects Reading and understanding drawings, specifications and programmes Working closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure RAMS are adhered to Communicating and enforcing health and safety requirements on site including site safety audits Liaising with clients, contractors and consulting engineers and maintaining good working relationships Carrying out site audits / progress reports and ensuring site progress in line with programme requirements Ensuring snagging items are dealt with promptly and efficiently About the Electrician Roles: Install, maintain and test electrical installations Ensure all work is carried out to Risk backssments and Method Statements Completion of health and safety checks About the Candidates: It is essential that Supervisors and Electricians are 18th Edition qualified Valid ECS/CSCS card SSSTS - Supervisors IPAF certificate preferred Full clean driving licence Self-motivated, enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable It is essential that you are able to work under pressure and to short deadlines.
