The Sales Researcher is responsible for the daily analysis and sales follow-ups to ensure all potential sales leads are captured and the client is fully qualified for their wider buying opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Researcher will be responsible for providing sales support to the Team in new business development, focused on account mapping and penetration through proactive tele sales calls securing new business appointments for the regional Director of Sales. You will undertake project-based sales initiatives to support the needs of the hotels and on-property sellers i. e. STLY sales calls, lapsed clients and ‘need/gaps’ period tele sales calls to clients to drive additional demand and pipeline. To succeed as a Sales Researcher, you will need: Solid record of sales achievement in the service or hospitality industry, understanding of the Transient, Groups and Meetings, and developing new business sales leads in a non-face to face environment Confidence in using Excel, Word and Power Point Adapt well to learning new systems and ways of working Proactive approach, the ability to meet deadlines and independently prioritise workload Ability to decipher and qualify new customer contacts to identify business opportunities and sales leads for the portfolio of hotel Strong communication and administrative skills with an ability to demonstrate assertiveness as necessary Confident in developing relationships and working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and to work with them to set and achieve goals Our Sales Researcher,.
