Care and Support Assistant : Part Time Avalon Court, Ipswich GBP 10.83 16 hours per week Are you a friendly and dedicated person looking for a rewarding career? If this sounds like you then we may have your perfect opportunity We are seeking a Care and Support Assistant to provide personal care and support to our residents at Avalon Court. Located on the Ipswich waterfront just 10 minutes from the town centre, Avalon Court consists of 14 self: contained apartments for adults with physical or learning disabilities. We have various part time hours available so may be able to accommodate any requirements that you have, this can be discussed in more detail at interview stage. Our Care and Support Assistants provide tailored support on a one: to: one basis. This will include personal care, assisting with activities within the community including days out, shopping and attending appointments as well as helping with finances such as paying bills. Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to build rapport and a trusting, long lasting, relationship with our resident. If you are looking for a role where no two days are the same and you want to make a real difference to the lives of others this may be the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for candidates with a passion for supporting people with complex needs to live as independently as possible, someone who values kindness and patience and who treats others with dignity and respect.
