Looking for a maintenance electrician to work in Mississauga. This is a position day shift times available. The successful candidate would be responsible for the following: Overview: Morning Shift 6am to3.30pm Full time Perm $40-$45In a manufacturing environment, the Electrician provides outstanding preventive maintenance and troubleshooting services. Acting as a team member supports the maintenance department and business team. Key Responsibilities: Proven ability to troubleshoot, follow up, and root cause equipment failures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following: Maintenance: • Perform electrical installations and modifications, including preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment. • Install and debug DC and AC motor systems including VFD and servomotors. • Able to debug systems following electrical drawings and, when they are not available, through trial and error. • Troubleshoot mechanical issues if 1st on breakdown (without mechanical drawings)Support Function • Work with operators to identify and rectify issues and implement improvements• Follow a PM schedule as required• Provide accurate and quick identification of problems and solutions• Identifyand implement production improvements and savings Other Duties: • Provide support to all members of the maintenance team• Offer assistance to other work areas as required• Willing to perform any other duties as assigned• Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills: • A 442 or 309 A license is required• Experience with voltage up to 600v and 1000 amps• Experience troubleshooting mechanical issues without schematics• Minimum Class III safety implementations experience• Good oral and written communication in English Powered by Jazz HR.
