Role -Support worker Pay: £12.50 ph Location: Newton Le Willows Hours: Full time time , 12:30-13:30+18:00-22:30 shifts with occasional sleeps. About City & County City & County Healthcare group, provides highly trained care teams for individuals who live within their own homes. We specialise in nurse-led care for adults and children with a range of disabilities such as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy. Is it important for you to work with a friendly team caring for others? If you have not worked in care before we can provide comprehensive training throughout the year with mandatory courses offered and supplementary courses available upon request. Our full induction programme includes enrolment on to the Care Certificate designed to equip health and social care workers with the skills they need to provide compassionate, person-centred care. Role This role will be supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home for the full shift providing support with Moving and Handling, Personal Care, food preparation, Nutrition and hydration & Household tasks. We are looking for someone who wants to make a real difference to people's lives and enjoys the social side of caring for people in their own home just some our clients interests are watching rugby, football, cooking / baking & watching TV.
