Job Summary: The Senior Recruitment Officer leads the daily operation of the student recruitment team and is responsible for the recruitment of students and conversion of applicants to achieve institutional enrolment goals. As the team lead, the role oversees the workflow of the contract recruitment team, including scheduling, and managing the operational process. This role acts as the first point of contact for any issues that arise when the recruitment team is travelling. The role is responsible for evaluating enrolment trends, institutional data, as well as province-wide trends in post-secondary education to develop a plan for prospective student contact across hundreds of high-affinity high schools, colleges, and partner organizations. Nature of work: This position reports to the Manager, Student Recruitment. Required Skills: Demonstrated oral and public speaking skills with an emphasis on presentation to external contacts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the proven ability to keep current on changes and trends in the university enrolment environment. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point. Flexibility in dealing with a variety of clients; secondary, non-secondary, non-traditional, parents, teachers, guidance counsellors and community partners. A strong record of teamwork, with the motivation and ability to coordinate tasks in a team environment. Positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation. Ability to multi-task, stay organized and delegate tasks as necessary. Detailed level of knowledge on post-secondary student recruitment. Demonstrated experience in digital recruitment.
