Job Function: Provide technical specialist support for the design and life cycle management of information systems/tools to ensure secure operation of the bulk transmission and/or distribution systems. Contribute to projects to initiate technical direction, user requirements, system design, software coding, systems integration, researching and training. Maintain client satisfaction and cooperative relations with technical staff. Identify the potential advantages in revising existing products/services. Provide consulting support to clients and internal staff in search of solutions. Job Description: Develop integrated and advanced computer based information solutions for business processes related to the secure operation and operations planning of the transmission and/or distribution systems. Entails the analysis of customer requirements, the formation of functional specifications and the development of total information solutions (including software, hardware, communications, or business processes as they relate to individual contributors or project management). Contribute to the evolution of existing advanced information systems and tools related to the operation, security and settlement of the transmission/distribution systems by implementing enhancements to provide additional functionality, improved reliability and/or maintainability and problem correction.
