Permanent Full-Time position, 40 hours per week-Overtime Available. Language Requirement: English Job Responsibilities. Prepare food items according to our restaurant's recipes and specifications. • Operate kitchen equipment and tools to prepare food, including knives, fryers, ovens, and grills. • Preparing and kneading dough to make rotis from scratch, following the restaurant's recipe and process. • Operating and maintaining a roti maker machine to produce rotis efficiently and to the restaurant's quality standards. • Monitoring the dough and adjusting the recipe and process as needed to ensure the quality and consistency of the rotis. • Rolling out and cooking rotis to order, ensuring that they are cooked to the customer's specifications. • Ensure that all food products are properly stored, labeled, and rotated according to food safety guidelines. • Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the kitchen manager regarding inventory needs. • Prepare and cook menu items to order, according to the customer's specifications. • Measuring and mixing ingredients, and preparing sauces, marinades, and other dishes from scratch. • Prepare ingredients for the day's service, such as chopping vegetables, trimming meat, or portioning out ingredients. • Ensure food quality and presentation meets our restaurant's standards. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and work area. • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment. • Assist other members of the kitchen team as needed.
