Job Description Hospital Engineer Woodland Hospital, Kettering37.5 hours per week, Full-time Salary depending on skills & experience + Benefits Summary: Woodland Hospital are currently recruiting for an Electrically biased Hospital Engineer to join our team. The working shifts are Monday to Friday and candidates applying are expected to have a level of flexibility as we have a rotational out of hours on-call system. What you'll do: Ensure legal compliance by following planned preventative maintenance schedules and policies along with helping to develop and assist with any required changes. Carry out reactive works across site to include all aspects of general maintenance. Provide Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to enable the continuous operation of the hospital. Provide competent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support & assistance. Report directly to the Engineering manager and support in carrying out their role. Review fault logs and monitor systems to highlight any potential faults. Allocate appropriate resources to each task within your area of responsibility. Occasionally working outside the hospital working hours to provide access for contractors and carry out essential maintenance. A TOIL system is in place and encouraged. Travel between Woodland and Glendon Wood sites and occasionally around the country to offer support and cover to other sites. What you'll bring with you: Experience within a Maintenance Environment or similar supportive role. City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding and the willingness to train in the Legionella prevention requirements within hospital buildings. Demonstrate a high level of organisation & time management skills, particularly in an environment with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
