JOB : Senior Project Manager LOCATION : Reading (hybrid working is available) TERM: Permanent SALARY : GBP 60,000: GBP 75,000, dependent on experience My client is a specialist manufacturer of electromechanical products, primarily working within the Medical industry. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in the Reading area on a permanent basis. The Senior Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes: : 5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior level : Ideally be experienced working with a small team to implement new Project Management processes : Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualifications : An educational or hands: on background in Engineering : A background in the Medical sector would also be beneficial : Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge : Be able to read engineering drawings : Strong client: facing experience : Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written : Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team : Be flexible to travel as required Responsibilities include: : Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery : Organising projects, implementing a new Project Management process and motivating the existing team to work to new structures and procedures : Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget : Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans : Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress : Working with design, purchasing and production departments : Presenting project plans and reports to management : Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues : Maintaining technical documentation as required : Mentoring junior members of the team : Occasional travel as required If you are interested in this position,.
