As a Business Development Manager, you willbe responsible for the increase in market penetration and growing our profitable business by providing professional, technical, and commercial expertise. This is a home and field: based position covering the Northwest of England. They areoffering a salary of GBP 48,000:55,000 : GBP 60,000:65,000 OTE Requirements of the Business Development Manager : At least 5 year's commercial experience working as a Business Development Manager, with an impressive background in either electronics engineering background or engineering sales. : Be active in your approach to improve and maintain technical and commercial knowledge. Maintain market awareness and market intelligence, ensuring feedback to sales, marketing, and management colleagues. : Knowledge and understanding of their clients products, applications, and potential customers would be an advantage but is not essential. : Technical competence related to electronics. : Previous sales experience and track record of achievement : You must be willing to travel and occasionally work away from home. All business travel and expenses are covered. : Create and execute an annual sales plan for the defined territory in North West England / Scotland (order intake/sales revenue and margin targets) in line with the Regional and Business Unit's plans for the financial year including agreed tactical action plans.
