We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join our secondary school in Croydon. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high: quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, helping them to achieve their full potential in this important subject area. Key responsibilities: Delivering high: quality lessons to students in Business Studies, ensuring that all students are engaged and challenged Preparing and marking student work, providing feedback to students and parents as required Monitoring student progress and implementing appropriate interventions where necessary Planning and delivering effective and engaging extra: curricular activities and trips Working collaboratively with other members of staff to ensure the smooth running of the department Essential criteria: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience teaching Business Studies at KS3, KS4 and KS5 Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Business Studies A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Desirable criteria: Experience of working in a similar role in a secondary school setting A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Studies or a related subject Experience of teaching A: Level Business Studies If you are passionate about teaching Business Studies and have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
