Hygiene Supervisor Night Shift Location: Cinderford, Gloucestershire (Only applicants living within a reasonable commutable distance will be considered. ) Salary: Competitive Our clientis looking to recruit a Night Hygiene Supervisor to be based at their Cinderford site in the Forest of Dean. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Red Meat processing Companies in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Hygiene Manager and will be responsible in assisting in the management of a busy night shift cleaning/hygiene team. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities with the role include but are not limited to: Efficient and effective supervision of the night shift cleaning team, ensuring all hygiene functions are completed to the required standard; continuously striving to find new ways to improve efficiency and quality of cleaning processes. Engage, motivate, and develop the team to enable the achievement of KPIs and satisfactory completion and sign: off of all cleaning processes. Assisting in the completion of daily cleaning audits, ensuring that corrective actions are recorded and subsequently carried out. Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Hygiene Manager. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 19:00 to finish (approximately 04:00) Must be flexible as additional hours and weekend work will be required. Essential Criteria Previous experience working in a hygiene team/department. Team oriented approach to a busy working environment with a practical, hands: on attitude. Good communicator with ability to deal with difficult situations. Must be flexible towards shift patterns and willingness to work hours outside the shift pattern (including Saturdays and Bank Holidays). Desirable Criteria Previous knowledge/experience with H and S and COSHH regulations. Confident in using computers. Previous experience supervising a small team.
