Rentco Equipment Ltd. is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Region for 60 years. We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables in the areas. We are currently looking for an Equipment Rental/Sales Representative to work on our front counter at our Grande Prairie Head Office. Responsibilities for this position include: Providing quality customer service in person, over the phone, and via email Advising and recommending equipment and consumables to customers Processing rental requirements for customers through counter service and sales Creating work orders for damaged or deficient equipment Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge Required skills and experience: 2-3 years experience in the rental industry or proven knowledge of construction and oilfield equipment and consumables Ability to work Monday- Friday and be a part of a weekend and on-call schedule Excellent customer service skills Excellent time management and problem solving abilities Intermediate computer skills, including programs such as Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn Rentco’s internal software (Point of Rental) Rentco Equipment offers: Competitive wages Comprehensive benefits RRSP/DPSP program Stable, year-round employment with great hours (Monday to Friday plus weekend and on-call, when required) Employee discount Promote from within policy Employee referral bonus Fantastic team to work with Monthly cake days to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries Powered by Jazz HR.
