We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team working on the Severn Trent Water contract, covering Nottingham, Upton on Severn, and Birmingham. The Electrician will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure related to water supply and wastewater management. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in electrical systems, strong problem: solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Job Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including pumps, motors, control panels, and instrumentation, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. Inspection and testing of electrical equipment Carrying out installations on controls and cabling including cable tray, trunking etc Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical issues, including faults, short circuits, and malfunctions, swiftly and accurately. Adhere to strict safety protocols and best practices while working in various environments, including water treatment plants, pumping stations, and industrial settings. Provide technical guidance and support to fellow team members, apprentices, and less experienced electricians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
