Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Coulsdon, Surrey Salary: GBP18,000 to GBP22,000 per annum We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Coulsdon, Surrey. The successful candidate will work with 11:19 year old students with challenging behaviour and autism, providing vital support to enable them to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities: Provide one: to: one and small group support to students with SEN, including those with challenging behaviour and autism. Assist in the delivery of educational and behavioural interventions, following individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans (BSPs). Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers as required. Support students with daily living skills and personal care needs as required. Promote positive behaviour and social skills development. Requirements: Experience working with children and young people with SEN, particularly those with challenging behaviour and autism. A patient and calm approach to working with students with SEN. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to promoting inclusive practice and equal opportunities for all students. A willingness to undertake training and ongoing professional development. A valid enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) certificate or willingness for one.
