Summary The Heavy Equipment Field Technician is required to perform skilled tasks in the Maintenance and Repair of On and Off Road Construction Equipment as well as promote and participate in Goal Zero Safety Initiative. The incumbent will have the ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems, as well as have the ability to repair all necessary mechanical components. Key Responsibilities · Inspect, maintain, and service of equipment · Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a wide variety of construction/ paving equipment. · Test repaired equipment for proper performance before sending equipment back to work · Repair and/or replace defective parts · Demonstrate commitment to company policies, procedures, guidelines and initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to promoting a positive attitude towards Ethics, Goal Zero Safety, Core Values of Safety, Growth, Integrity · Positively participate in company safety program and adhere to all safety requirements · Maintain a safe and clean work environment · Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances. · Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting. · Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work.
