Finance Business Partner – Great Hospitality Group Role: Finance Business Partner Location: Birmingham Salary: Up to £40,000 We are working with a brilliant restaurant and catering business that has an established network of clients and customers. The role reports to the Head of Finance and is part of the finance team. The role will predominantly be field based, supporting the operations teams to drive performance across their contract portfolio. The key to being successful in this role is providing actionable management information and delivering on added value initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Supporting a multisite business. Management of the Business Insight Team. Acting as the Finance lead for contract retender and pre-emptive negotiations including scenario modelling. Supporting the Finance led to benchmark and optimise bid pricing/finance in competitive tenders. Led on establishing Budgets and various forecast rounds by contract. Month-end close and reporting. Partaking in UK-wide projects - development opportunities. The successful candidate. CIMA/ACC/ACA Qualified. Highly proficient in SAP and Excel. A motivated, self-starter able to take on a broad spectrum of work under pressure and deliver results. Able to interpret and explain financial information and trends to others. Approachable, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships. Commercially astute and consistent in approach. Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders with the ability to challenge, influence and persuade at all levels. Comfortable developing and working with complex spreadsheets. Demonstrable commercial finance experience in improving business results and adding value. Excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically.
