The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview The major responsibility of the position is to perform tasks as a cook in food preparation and cleaning food preparation area. Responsible for coordination of tasks in the central food production kitchen. Experience Prior experience and knowledge in coordinating food distribution. Experience supervising staff. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a large-scale commercial cooking operation (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Completion of a recognized course in Commercial Cooking. Certification/Licensure/Registration Safe Food Handling Certification. Red Seal Certification required. Qualifications and Skills Ability to apply food preparation knowledge with attention to food safety requirements, safe work practices, and Health Regulations. Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing staff. Good interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize work and meet established deadlines under pressure.
