Waking Night Support Workers (Level 3 : Children) Location: Devon Salary: GBP 13.50 : GBP 15.50 per hour (DOE) + Excellent Benefits Job Type: Permanent (Full: Time and Part: Time positions available) Our client, a newly opened childrens home, is deeply devoted to creating an enriching and stable space for the growth of young individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism. They are seeking Waking Night Support Workers to be part of their dedicated team. The Role: Youll play a pivotal role in offering comprehensive holistic care to children, contributing to their growth and development. Some individuals may exhibit challenging behaviors, hence your solution: oriented, adaptable, and empathetic approach will be pivotal. Responsibilities: Provide high: quality holistic care and support Assist in shaping the lives of young individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism Contribute to the team and adapt effectively to dynamic challenges Offer backssment for short: or long: term support for young people aged between 8 : 18 yrs Work night shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring support continuity Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of experience working with children and young people Previous experience with children and young people is essential Hold Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce Diploma or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Youth Work or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism Hold a valid driving license Display moderate to high computer literacy Shift: Timings from 9:30 pm until 7:30 am 40 hours per week and 30 hours per week Weekends and Bank Holidays, Benefits: On: site parking Complimentary meals Blue Light Card membership Clear avenues for career progression Enhanced pay rates for Bank Holidays worked Bonus pay related to yearly OFSTED registration Opportunities for additional qualifications through learning and.
