Your role in the team You will join our Architecture team and take ownership for defining and maintaining our architectural roadmap for our 888 side of the business. You will be responsible for: • Defining and maintaining the architectural roadmap• Working closely with Dev managers and the IT Department in planning solutions, introducing new technologies and creating guidelines for physical implementation. • Providing concrete, actionable technical design as we continue our journey toward a containerized microservices platform. • Developing an open and extensible architecture that promotes 3rd party integrations. • Assuring that our software is implemented in accordance with your designs. • Assisting with optimisation and scalability improvement efforts. • Resolving complex technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Experience, knowledge, and skills required include: • Experience with backend and frontend stacks core ( framework), node. js, react, Java Script’s, micro-frontend patterns, mobile development - best practices, tweaks, under the hood and monitoring - big advantage. • Experience with adopting technologies, platforms, systems, etc. • Experience with high volume systems and designing solutions for reliability and performance at scale. • Experience with streaming architectures including cost analysis, performance tuning, and quality of service concerns.
