Job Description An excellent opportunity has arisen to be based at Robert Gordon University as a Head Chef. This is a permanent opportunity which will predominantly involve working Monday to Friday with the very occasional need to support on a weekend. Within this role, you will lead on all food production and safety compliance across a busy University campus. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to put their own stamp on things, build relationships and lead a team to success. A day in the life of a Head Chef: Lead the food production and safety compliance across a busy University campus. The successful applicant we will be responsible for presentation of retail and food outlets, managing teams and all compliance of the food operations: Operational Delivery- Lead on Food Production and distribution teams across campus- Responsible for ensuring excellent presentation and standards across multi: site retail and food outlets- Champion excellent customer service and responsible for ensuring front line teams deliver great service Compliance- Overall responsibility for central food production operation- Ensure strict compliance with Aramark Hygiene and Safety requirements- Ensure Team Leaders and Team Members receive appropriate training to company policies; legal and health and safety requirements Youll be all set up for success if you have: - Experience as a Chef in a hospitality/ food service/ contract catering environment- The ability to lead and manage a team- Strong organisational and time management skills- Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative About Aramark Northern Europe : Our Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
