The Role: As a Fire Engineer (Building Control) you can make your own powerful contribution, making sure construction work across our Borough meets our Health and Safety, accessibility and energy standards. It's as diverse a spread of work as you can imagine. On any day, you could be backssing the fire safety engineering aspects a historic landmark, mixed: use scheme or domestic project. With so many public events across the Borough, there'll be opportunities to get involved in our temporary structures' provision too. As well as the surveyors, structural engineers and building services engineers in your team, you'll collaborate closely with external agencies, statutory undertakers, contractors, elected Members and the public.
