Company Address: 9752 156 Street, Surrey, British Columbia, V3R 0X9Job Title: - Glass Installer-Glazier Job NOC: 73111Position Available: 1 Wage: $27.50 per hour for 40 hours/week Term of Employment: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Job Requirements: Language: English Education: Completion of secondary (high) school Work Experience: Experience is preferred in this field but can train new interested applicants. Job Duties: • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the size, shape, color, type, and thickness of glass, location of framing, installation procedures, and staging and scaffolding materials required. • Measure glass and dimensions of areas to be covered in order to determine work procedures. • Measure, mark, and cut glass• Position glass panes into frames and secure glass using clips, points, or mouldings• Cut and remove broken glass prior to installing replacement glass. • Cut, fit, install, repair, and replace glass• Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products• Estimate costs and materials Schedule: 8-hour shift (Monday to Friday)Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay Work Setting: • Various: Residential and Commercial Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: • Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling• Combination of sitting, standing, walking • Fast-paced environment • Hand-eye coordination • Handling heavy loads • Manual dexterity Personal Suitability: • Flexibility• Reliability• Team player How to apply: • By Email: xyz X@ Visible minorities, Indigenous people and newcomers to Canada and people with the above-mentioned skills are welcome to apply.
