Date Posted: 08/28/2023 Req ID: 33621 Faculty/Division: Ofc of the Chief Information Officer Department: Enterprise Apps & Solutions Integration Campus : St. George (Downtown Toronto) Description: Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, Enterprise Shared Services, the Service Now HR Developer is responsible for the development of new and existing applications, leading projects, and providing support and technical expertise, testing, and configuration in all areas of the University’s Service Now management system. This position will also have specific responsibilities for the day-to-day management and operation of the University’s Service Now system and will be a key participant in conceptualizing Service Now changes to integrate with the University’s HR service management business processes. This position will also plan, evaluate, install, implement, and configure service packs and upgrades to the overall Service Now system, prepare documentation and reports, and provide user support. Qualifications: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Information Studies, Computer Science or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience. Service Now System Administrator certification an asset. EXPERIENCE: Minimum four (4) years’ relevant experience working with service management systems and related projects and technologies. Experience administering Service Now including managing the overall security of the platform, configuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs), developing workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, catalog items, domain separation and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions. Experience with business process analysis and providing technical support/advice to a range of users required. Experience with Java Script, CSS, HTML, web design and usability principles is an asset.
