Responsibilities: Work independently to apply design principles for 3D models and 2D mechanical equipment, piping layout, mechanical layout or general arrangement drawings of industrial buildings and processes. Work collaboratively to share the results of your work with senior members of the discipline and/or other Hatch groups Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical and piping systems Be knowledgeable of various mechanical equipment, various design tools, piping system design, discipline workflows, and industrial components/processes. Participate in formal design review processes P&ID design and review. Perform clash detection of models with other discipline models Participate in office and site safety training and inductions as needed to support office and site activities Perform field verification, and provide field support during construction Willingness and ability to travel and work in other Hatch offices or project work sites.
