Job details• Location: London, ON• Salary: $31.50 to $34.50 hourly for 32 to 44 hours per week (To be negotiated)• Terms of employment: Permanent employment & Full time• Employment Conditions: Evening, Weekend, Morning, Day• Employment groups: Youth, Visible minorities, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Veterans• Start Date: Starts as soon as possible• Benefits: Long term benefits• Number of Vacancies: 2 vacancies Job requirements Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience1 year to less than 2 years Work Setting In shop Responsibilities Tasks• Instruct apprentices• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required• Order parts and maintain inventory• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts• Keep maintenance reports and documentation• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work• Perform repair work on heavy trucks• Service attachments and working tools• Verify and repair emission control systems Experience and specialization Diesel engine repair specialization• Exhaust system• Cooling system• Engine control system Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization• Hydraulic transmissions• Differentials• Brake system Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities• Physically demanding• Bending, crouching, kneeling• Handling heavy loads Personal suitability• Client focus• Reliability• Team player Long term benefits Other benefits, Free Parking Benefits4% Vacation Pay & WSIB How to apply By emailxyz X@.
