JOB SUMMARY: Sask Power is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Generation Civil Engineering Department in Regina, SK. This role is responsible for design, project and contract administration, as well as construction support, and commissioning services for the entire generation fleet of Sask Power (Hydro, Gas, Coal, Solar, Wind). This department works with a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers, Project Managers and Plant staff and deliver sustainment capital projects, provides support for new generation and plant operation/maintenance activities. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Develop and prepare Structural, Civil and Architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models. • Performed structural design and drafting works using Auto CAD 2D/3D for multiple projects of different sizes and level of complexity • Provide input and assistance to other design staff and engineers during the planning and scheduling of the design activities for the project plan • Co-ordinate with others in the project team and complete their assigned work on time to ensure that the project objectives are understood and met • Utilize Sask Power’s Autodesk Drawing Management System and Software Suite for preparation and/or “As built” of Auto CAD station drawings • Check drawings.
