POSITION CLASSIFICATION Health Care Aide ROTATION Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday SELECTION PROCESS Screening: Candidates will be pre-screened based on education and experience. Eligible candidates will be interviewed. English Proficiency Test: Candidates will be submitted to an English language test (Writing, Reading, Listening, and Speaking). The English Proficiency Test is REQUIRED and will be considered a condition of employment, which means that any eligible candidates will be required to first pass testing. The candidates that successfully pass the test will move to stage two of the interview process. If candidate fails, will no longer be eligible to proceed with interview for position and will not be considered further in the selection process. Interview: Candidates will be interviewed by the Senior Leadership Team. References: At least three (3) professional references will be required, and references will be checked prior to hiring. ACCOUNTABILITY RELATIONSHIP Reports to the Director of Care or designate. Take direction for daily assignment from the unit nurse. SUMMARY OF FUNCTION Under the direction of the Director of Care or designate, the Health Care Aide performs duties as assigned within Golden Links Lodge Nursing Department. Works under the direction.
