Unipart Logistics (UL) has secured a contract to run the new, custom-built Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts Logistics Centre at Appleby Magna in Leicestershire. The operation will be housed at Jaguar Land Rover's new Mercia Park campus, one of the largest UK warehouse developments for a single customer. With a multimillion-pound major facility investment program already underway, we would like you to join us now to be part of the core team. This is a great opportunity to be a major part of the successful implementation of what is said to be the largest automotive logistics project in the UK. As General Manager you will deliver world-class standards in cost, quality, and delivery and you will focus on activity in support of our strategic Go Digital, Go Green, Go Faster growth and development. You will be fully accountable for the performance and management of warehouse operations and will have the opportunity to define, plan, manage, and sustain organisation and operational change and transformation projects that will truly make a difference. A full '360' role, you will manage all aspects of the Distribution Centre covering inbound and outbound processing, warehouse management, distribution management, internal quality control, returns processing and stock integrity, safety, budget, Unipart Way, and compliance.
