At Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, we have an exciting opening to join our team as an Assistant Night Manager… We are looking for someone who can commit to Full-Time, across 4 shifts per week. Your working pattern will be from 9:30pm-8:00am, 4 days on and 4 days off. Being flexible would be a great plus! We will be there to support you each step of the way, encouraging you to thrive in your role and develop additional skills within the wider Hotel! We are paying £13.10 per hour, all hours worked paid for. As an Assistant Night Manager your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting the Front Office Team to ensure that our guests and employees are safe throughout the night, assist with the night audit, checking in/out guests and dealing with any guest requests or queries throughout the night. You will deal with high level service recoveries and provide handovers from the night to the Front Office team (whilst making sure any important information is passed over). Our Assistant Night Manager will cover Duty Manager shifts when needed and manage the nights team in the absence of a Nights Manager. To smash this role out of the park, the key skills & experience you’ll ideally already have are: Experience supervising a team within a Hotel environment (preferably Front Office) for a minimum of 1 year Strong IT skills and knowledge of Hotel systems, specifically Front Office PMS systems (experience with Opera is a bonus) Willingness to help out the wider Hotel team where needed and complete a variety of tasks throughout your shift Confidence in dealing with Guest queries or requests, no request is too large!
