WORK ADDRESS: Bay 2, 135 Commercial Drive Calgary, AB, T3Z 2A7WORK LOCATION/SETTING: Various Locations, Outdoors VACANCIES: 1TYPE OF POSITION: Full-time, Permanent START DATE: As Soon As Possible Posted on Job Bank MAIN JOB DUTIESHire, supervise and schedule staff Plan and direct grounds maintenance Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns Plan and estimate labour and materials Organize and direct construction of fences, decks and walls Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work Maintain work records and logs Establish work schedules and procedures Repair and maintain equipment Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Resolve work related problems Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens Weed, prune and trim trees and plants Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment Cart and spread topsoil and other materials Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY EXPERIENCESmall engine equipment Tractor mower Weed trimmer/edger WORK CONDITIONS, PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND PERSONAL SUITABILITYHandling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling OTHER INFORMATIONWork Experience Required: 7 months to 1 years experience Minimum Education Required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Language: English workplace language Wage Range: $25.00 per hour Hours: 30-50 per week Overtime: Hours over 44 per week OTHER BENEFITSVacation: 4%Health Care Plan - available after 3 months of employment Email applications to: xyz X@.
