Graduate Geotechnical Engineer : Leeds Starting Salary: GBP23,000 : GBP26,000 This is a brand: new position for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join one of the UKs leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancies in their Leeds office. If you have recently graduated in geology/earth sciences/geotechnical engineering and live local to Leeds this is the position for you The successful graduate geotechnical engineer will be offered: Industry leading starting salary (GBP23:26,000) Full training and support from chartered engineers Clear progression route towards becoming a senior engineer Opportunity to work on both geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects Fantastic office environment Regular pay review and annual bonus Balanced split between office and site work Training in project management The successful assistant geotechnical/geoenvironmental engineer will attend ground investigations where you will do soil and rock logging, trial pitting and ground gas and water monitoring. In the office, you will write interpretative geotechnical and geoenvironmental reports, complete desk studies and liaise with clients. To be successful in your application you should have a full UK drivers licence, the right to work in the UK and live a commutable distance to central Leeds.
