Part Time Caretaker Rachel House and Dashwood House, Banbury GBP 11.38 10 hours per week Do you want flexibility in the hours that you work? We are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to join our friendly team who will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and well: presented environment for our Rachel House and Dashwood services based in Banbury. Rachel house works to provide supported housing to single young parents, aged 16:25 and their children, while Dashwood house is our new, 8 bed supported living service providing support for people aged 18+ with learning disabilities and autism. The role will cover 5 hours at Rachel House and 5 hours at Dashwood House. Monday: Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm, with flexibility around these days and hours. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, open manner is essential for success in this role. Read more about Rachel House here The role of Caretaker will include: : Carrying out weekly Health and Safety checks and risk backssments, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines: Fulfilling general caretaking duties, including basic repairs, cleaning, landscaping and grounds maintenance duties: Maintaining an adequate supply of tools and equipment and restocking as necessary, to enable the effective delivery of services: Completing accurate daily work records and providing timely updates: Identifying potential maintenance issues and reporting these in a timely manner, to maintain a safe environment Skills and experiences: : Previous experience in a similar caretaking or maintenance.
