Retail Sales Associate, £24,000 - £28,000 a year The Company: Our client is based in Burscough and is looking for a organised , mechanical minded sales associate to join the team. There is a great family run feel about the company and hard work really does pay off with the business with scope to train and progress into management. As a company they like to go the extra mile and do what it takes to cater for their customers. They are a proactive business based just outside Ormskirk, they pride themselves on their product knowledge and customer service. The Role: This full-time role will include a mix of showroom and field sales as well as assisting with telephone and online enquiries, where you will advise customers on machinery requirements, conduct site visits, carry out demonstrations including operational instructions and setup. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm & Saturdays 8am to 2pm on a rota basis. My client offers ongoing product and sales training in house and external. This is great if you are looking for sales exposure in a busy customer facing environment. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Develop in-depth knowledge of our products. The willingness to learn everything about our company, products & industry. Experience in using some similar products to which we deal in. Be able to work well within a team and on their own initiative. Work well under pressure during busy periods. Key Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. To be very well organised. Good IT skills. Have good interpersonal skills. Be passionate in their delivery. Education/Knowledge/Experience : Sales experience would be very desirable but adaptable skills would also be considered within this role. Experience with Sage would be advantageous (training is provided if not) Experience with Microsoft Publisher would be advantageous (training is provided if not) Customer service experience Sales experience.
