Duties: • Performing routine physical examination and vaccination of cats and dogs• Performing canine and feline castration and ovariohysterectomy• Communicating with clients and establishing a vet-client relationship, including but not limited to collection of thorough history, explanation of diagnostic and treatment plan options, answering of client questions, follow-up communication after plan is in place. • Collecting and analyzing blood, urine, and fecal samples • Collecting and analyzing diagnostic imaging, including radiographs and ultrasound to diagnose diseases or conditions. Typical examples include but are not limited to abdominal radiographs, radiographic views of common musculoskeletal issues, ultrasound views of the abdomen or mass lesions. • Collecting and analyzing samples for microscopic evaluation • Managing chronic disease (i. e. diabetes, heart disease, atopy/allergies)• Performing interventional surgery (i. e. enterotomies, gastrotomies,.
