We are a leading oilfield construction company that provides quality Pipeline Construction, pipeline Integrity, Facility Construction and Module Construction to western Canada’s energy sector. Location: Medicine Hat AB - Once this project is completed there is potential to move to the next project location Excavator Operator Position Summary: The successful candidates must have previous excavator experience on pipeline integrity digs and live hot lines along with spoon. The start date of this position will be on or before September 6 th , 2023. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs direct excavation on natural gas pipelines (hotline excavation) Experience working on pipeline right of way Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervision Move equipment and materials between sites Maintain all equipment in good and safe working condition and report any findings to site supervisor Participate in daily toolbox talks May perform other related duties as assigned This job description is not intended to be all inclusive and may involve additional related duties as delegated and required to meet the ongoing needs of League Projects Ltd. Skills and Requirements: Must be able to work within precise limits with high standards of accuracy Must possess and maintain a clean driver's abstract and valid full-driver's license appropriate to the requirements of the vehicle being driven Ability to work with little supervision, while adding to a safe and positive team environment is a must Minimum of 5 years experience Be competent with the Equipment applying to operate Certifications and Onboarding Requirements: Class 5 Drivers License Standard First Aid ABCGA approved Supervisory Ground Disturbance or Level II Site specific orientations and training upon hire Trans Canada orientation Work Conditions: Must be flexible working adjusted shift schedule is required Extensive travel required to various project locations Work will be.
