As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles. The GO Expansion scope: new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more. For this project, we are looking for a Project Manager - Wayside Sub-System in order to lead the deployment of the Interlocking on the Corridors in close collaboration with our partners. The Project Manager is responsible for the management and successful completion of cross-functional activities leading to the delivery of a complex project sub-system in a high criticality or medium criticality project, fulfilling both customer needs and committed QCDP objectives. They will: Manage cross-functionally sub-system level stakeholders, activities and deliverables and make needed arbitration (engineering, product x process, Make or Buy, Costs, Milestones, Interfaces, etc. ) to reach QCDP commitment Coordinate sub-system activities with other project stakeholders including integration teams’ other sub-systems and project level functions.
